How does Lane Assist work? 

This is a very smart ADAS system which uses a combination of sensors at the rear of your car and a camera at the front. The camera detects the contrast between the road surface and the lines on the road to orientate itself towards the road markings. If it senses that you’re straying too close to the next lane or it senses a vehicle in the next lane coming too close to you, the system will alert you. 

This is a very clever bit of kit, but you can only rely on it if it is well maintained with regular servicing by qualified ADAS specialists such as the team at Carmaster Garage in Harrogate.
