Managing Director
Rebecca loves to play bridge, is a qualified Tournament Director and an Advanced Bridge Master. She regularly writes for the Aftermarket magazine and is dedicated to trying to be the very best employer possible.
Dave P
Director & diagnostic specialist
Dave likes playing golf and maintaining his classic bike collection. He was the winner of Apprentice of the Year in 1982 in Yorkshire and Humberside. Latterly, he was a finalist in the Bright Spark National Mechanic of the Year and twice a finalist in Technician of the Year.
Richard
Master Technician
Richard is proud to be one of the country’s very few ADAS-qualified technicians, having renewed this qualification three times. A whizz at modern repairs, Rich is a qualified Master Technician – did you know only 5% of the country are qualified to this level?
Simon
General Manager
Simon started at the company as a Service Advisor and, after 10 years of service within the company, has now been promoted to General Manager. He has now been in this position for a full year. Simon enjoys football and is an avid Leeds United fan. He plays poker as a hobby.
Dave T
Head of Customer Love
Dave has been with the company for five years, mainly being responsible for the arrangement of days, delivering high levels of customer service, caring for customers’ vehicles, and translating customer concerns to the technicians. He enjoys football and most sports. He is qualified in first aid, in addition to being a fire warden – you’re always in safe hands with Dave.
Kym
Mamma Bear & Fire-Fighting Queen
Kym has been with the company for five years. She enjoys netball and is a netball umpire and player. Kym is also our Mental Health warden; she is qualified to level 3 and her natural ability for caring is seen every day at work.
Andy Sumner
Technical Advisor
Andy started at the company four years ago in the workshop, and became a specialist in timing belt repairs and larger repairs. He then decided to take the vacancy we had within the office and has now transferred his workshop experience to help and advise customers. Andy is an avid Leeds United fan and season ticket holder who loves fishing and plays pool for a local team.
Lee
Mechanical Technician
Lee has been with the company for nearly two years. He is great at fabricating and welding and general repairs and loves stripping and rebuilding engines. After 32 years of experience, Lee still enjoys what he does and likes getting out and about with his dog, Jess.
Andy Strike
MOT tester & quality control
Andy has been with the company for six years and mainly carries out MOTs, taxi compliances/quality control and general repairs. Andy enjoys riding and building motorbikes and also likes football and heavy metal music.
Brandon
Technician
Brandon started at the company as an apprentice four years ago and has recently passed his level 3 motor mechanics course at Harrogate College. He is a fully qualified technician, ready for more advanced training and learning. Brandon enjoys football, socialising with friends, and spending time with his family.
Frank
Apprentice Technician
Frank has been with the company for around a year. Frank works on a one-day release with Harrogate College; he’s still learning the ropes but is an upcoming star. Frank enjoys music, plays guitar in a local band, and enjoys repairing/restoring cars in his spare time.
Luke
Technician & ADAS specialist
Luke has been with the company for 10 years, carrying out larger repairs (engines/gearbox repairs). He is also an MOT tester, and is ADAS and electric-trained. He enjoys mountain biking and running, and also competes in local fell running. Luke once cycled 100 miles off-road on a mountain bike in 18 hours for charity! I wonder, is he the fittest technician in the country?
Dan
Technician, MOT tester & ADAS-qualified
Dan has been with Carmaster for 2 years now; mainly carrying out large repairs, servicing, and engine and gearbox repairs. He’s also ADAS-qualified and an MOT tester. He loves being a Dad, spending time with his family, classic Vauxhalls, as well as riding his motorbike.
Jess
Head of Security (woof)
Jess is in charge of cuddles and helps with mental health. She also helps with food lost by staff 🤣
