What is ADAS?

ADAS is the generic name for the modern safety systems on your car. These include things such as Adaptive Cruise control (ACC) and Lane Change Assist but the list is huge and ever-growing as the autonomous vehicle slowly becomes a reality.

Carmaster Garage was the first independent garage in Yorkshire to install Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) calibration equipment. Over the years we’ve developed our workshop in Starbeck, just to the east of Harrogate equipping it with the latest, state-of-the-art ADAS calibration technology. We’ve also invested in our team who have undergone full training with four members of staff currently holding the new ADAS IMI qualification.
